no baby yet

I have decided that our dear sweet baby is grounded to his room until the 26th. I have tried walking, cleaning and everything else I could think of so now he has to wait until after christmas.
We are gettin excited for christmas! the boys are both on christmas break now so tomorow we get to clean there room and make cookies for santa. dave is supposed to be off by 4 tomorow. so we can have our yummy ham dinner and go look at christmas lights. Merry Christmas everyone and godbless.

almost baby time!

I went in for my check up today and I am at a 2 and I am 70% effaced! so it could be anytime now! she told me to make a appointment for next week but she didn't think I will praboly need it! so we are getting way excited! I told Preston when I picked him up from school today and he told me he wants Ben to come tomorrow! I told him that would be great as long as Ben waits until after Preston and Jeremy's christmas programs. so it could be very soon! we will keep you updated.

shopping

Holy cow! What a day! i got to go play santa today and get the toys the boys asked for! Jeremy asked for a diego train set. I didn't even know such a thing existed! so I had to ask the toy manager in walmart what it was! lol! but they didn't have any and neither did the other walmart in billings so he told me to order it online and I could have free shipping on it if i had it sent to walmart. so I came home to do that and my computer was being dumb and wouldn't let me! so I had to go get Jeremy from school and go to davids work to use there computer ( jeremy just went in the break room to watch cartoons) but every store online was sold out too! so I was freaking out because all he asked for this year was a scooter and the diego train set! so I got out the phone book and called around to see if target or kmart or any of the other stores in billings had it. and they didn't. but there is a town called laurel that is like abt the same distance away as idaho falls is to shelley. and they have a walmart. so i called them and they had 1 left! So i had them take it up to cusomer service 4 me! i had to have them cover it up with shopping bags for me though because i had to take Jeremy with me to get it! they were really good abt it though! I am so excited that i found it! it was my big adventure today!

No baby yet

Hi everyone! bowling didn't work! Ben is not here yet. all it did was make me tired and sore! lol!
But we did have a really good time visiting with the people that David works with, and made some new friends. they even fed us chinese food for dinner! It was way yummy!
Its starting to look like Christmas here. we got 4 new inches of snow yesterday and they say we may get more tonight. But boy is it cold! our high tomorrow is supposed to be -2! we aren't supposed to get above 0 until after Wednesday! we took the boys swimming at the Y yesterday and after we were done it was cold enough outside that my hair froze solid in the time it took us to cross the street to our car! I like the snow, but this freezing weather I can do without! brr......
Davids boss told him friday that it would be a lot better if I had Ben on a weekend so that he didn't have to worry about missing any work! lol! I'll see what I can do about that!
The boys had there big christmas program at church today, it was called the Bethlehem gulch. It was a dude ranch setting where they told the story of Jesus birth around the camp fire. the Boys dressed up as cowboys. they had on checkered shirts with a handkerchief around there necks and they had on there belts with there belt buckles grandma casper gave them. when we got there one of the ladies found a pair of cowboy boots that fit Jeremy and he looked so cute! he even had the cowboy strut going! lol! (they couldn't find a pair for Preston so he just wore his snowboots)

Christmas

Christmas is so close! we are getting so excited! the boys have practice this saturday for the church christmas program sunday so Dave and I are going to finish up our christmas shopping. Then later that night we have his work christmas prarty. We are going bowling, so maybe that will put me in labor!
I don't know though, I would like him to wait until after the 19th because both of the boys have their christmas programs on the morning of the 19th. David was even able to take the moring off so he can come too!
He ask me every night if I have had any contractions! we went swimming at the Y last night and after words I had a few bracksdin hicks contractions but that is it so far. I went to the docter yesterday and she said I was at a 1, but his head has to come down some more before anything will happen. so we are playing the waiting game. :)
Prestons school had there holiday lunch today, so we went and had lunch with him today. david just took a early lunch and Jeremy came home a little early from school to come with us. Jeremy was so exctied! he has wanted to have lunch with preston all year. they had turkey friciksy. davids favorite lunch from grade school and my very least favorite! ( I always took cold lunch that day!) but it was fun to eat with him and his friends and visit with him! he is so dang cute! we were in line waiting to eat and the little girl behind him informed us that she was sitting by preston! lol! it was cute! then while we were eating we were visiting and another little girl told us we needed to be quite because that was the rule! lol! they are so funny at that age! but honestly when has anyone ever known me to be quite? that was something I was always in trouble for at school!

BLESSINGS

Sometimes in our lives all of our problems get so over whelming! all of the little things add up into this great big huge problem that weighs us down! I have been feeling that way lately with the econemy going the way it is and with my sweet little brother in iraq its very easy to get overwhelmed!
so when that happens I have to stop and take a few minutes to count my blessings and that helps everything even out for me! we have so much to be thankful for! we have 3 healthy happy little boys, Dave has a very good job, He and I are both healthy, we have a warm dry place to live, we have food to eat, all of our extended family are healthy and have warm places to live and food to eat and while we have many wants we don't have many un met needs.
We really enjoyed our thanksgiving this year! we had wonderful food and amazing company! our boys were so excited to play with their cousins! they didn't want to leave when it was time. they already made plans for us to go back to idaho in august for bradys bithday. But hopefully we will be home for easter too.
I even got to go on a date with my sweet sister inlaw Jen! we went and saw the new Twilight movie, it was very good! (if you haven't seen it and read the book you should because it was very good!) We had a ball!
I also was able to hang out with my mom and get my hair done which is always fun. we always have really good visits!
It is good we went when we did because the wheather has started into winter, we had a storm last tuesday that was bad enough that it took me a hour to get to davids work and a hour to get back home! and it is snowing agian today. not as much thoughg, we only have abt a inch of new snow. but it will be good to have a white christmas. I just hope Ben dosen't pick a night like tuesday night to be born!
I have a docters appointment tomorow to see how things are going. my new due date is january second. so he could come anytime now. but I am thinking closer to the 19th or 20th of december. If he decides to come on grandpa Brians bithday on January 13th they are both in big trouble! lol!

David and I took the boys for a walk a few weeks ago, up by the airport. It was pretty to see all the fall colors.

Me and my sweetheart! we have been married over 7 years and I still get butterflies in my stomach when he holds my hand and kisses me!

daddy and his boys!

Dave and I usally dress up for halloween. this year he was a vampire/ pirate. I went as a pregnant princess. we just didn't use costumes this year. just face paint and fake eye lashes.

Preston went as octumas prime from transformers.

Jeremy had a really good time cleaning out his pumkin this year! he was way excited because it was from his Grandpa Edwards garden.

Jeremy went as Bumblebee from transformers! they were so cute! he told me that he and Preston were the leaders of the Auto bots!

Prestons school was dumb and they wouldn't let the kids wear there costumes to school for halloween. I could tell that it made him sad that Jeremy could wear his but he couldn't wear his so instead we sprayed his hair with colored hair spray. it was supposed to be a yellow color but with his blonde hair it looked neon green. He was the only kid I saw at school with colored hair but oh well. thats what happens when mommy is a bit of a stinker when it comes to those things. all of the other kids just wore black and orange clothes.

christmas before halloween?

This was just a few weeks ago. we got over a foot of snow! it was the first time in the 7 1/2 years david and I have been married that we were snowed in! with no power for about 4 hours! but we made the best of it and played board games and had some good family time! =)

this picture was a few days later when it finally stopped snowing and they could go out and play! Jeremy and I made a snowman while Preston made a snow fort! You can't even tell now that it snowed. but we had fun while it lasted!

halloween

Jeremy has been counting down the days until halloween! he is SO excited! He is going to be bumble bee from transformers and Preston is going to be Octimus Prime.
It will be a little wierd to be so far away from family for halloween we usually go around to see everyone and that is were the kids trick or treat. But this year we are going to our church for a Trunk or Treat so that will be fun. =)
I go into the docter monday for my next check up. its getting close for out little Ben to come! we are so excited! I go in twice a month now.
David is doing great just way busy! they have a guy who works there that is going through cemo and radiation for cancer so he has been sick a lot. so david is covering his job too. so need less to say he is way busy! but he is great at what he does and he loves it so that is a good thing.
well we are doing good and I'll write more later.

OUR FAMILY

We have 2 boys Preston who is 6 and loves to learn about anything that is creepy crawly. He is our social butterfly and makes new friends were ever we go!
Jeremy is 4 and he is our football fan and is a stanch supporter for the Steelers like his daddy. He loves to play outside and is full of smiles and mischief.
We are also expecting our 3rd bundle of joy in January. A little boy who we are naming Benjamin Spencer. We are very excited!
