here you go grandma's! :) here are our sweet boys! they are getting so big! they can hardly wait until we make it home for mothers day weekend! they are counting down the days! 10 to go

debt

we went to a broadcast tonight abt refusing to be a part of this resecion by Dave Ramsey, he just talked abt taking responsibility in our own lives for our finances and than helping those around us. his three steps to doing this where : 1- GET MOVING!------TAKE ACTION! your best chance at sucess is you! 2-Don't praticepate in loser talk! 3- learn to give agian! giving gives YOU HOPE!!!
a friend of ours is going to give us a book of Dave Ramseys on getting debt free and planing for your future. I am excited to read it and to hopefully get us debt free and buy our first home!!

family

I just have been thinking abt family tonight. what an amazing blessing family is! I am so glad we have the technology we have to keep in touch! even when Zane was in Iraq we could still talk to him on the phone or hear from him in a email!
I am so thankful that we have him home safe and sound! who would have thought that my pesky little brother, who used to hog the tv and watch dragoon ball z, would become one of my very best friends? and yes he did get bigger than me mom, but he is nice and dosen't pick on me! lol! he is my boys hero too! Jeremy told me today that when he grows up he is going to help uncle Zane keep the world safe by being a police officer. Preston now wants to work construction in the airforce instead of being a jet pilot for them. just so he can work with uncle Zane!
My mom is one of the women I look up to in life, I call her almost everyday either with questions like "how long should I cook a roast in the oven and at what temp?" or just to see what she is doing and share whats going on at our house! My boys get so homesick for her! They like to talk to her on the phone and tell her what is going on in their lives. She is so good at making each of them feel important, loved and uniqe! even spencer talks to her on the phone! there are times when situations come up in life and I ask myself what she would do and it helps me know what to do, it helps to remember that I come from a long line of strong, capable, creative women who can handle anything god and life throw at them. sometimes you just have to pull yourself up by your boot straps and keep going! when i count my blessings I defenitly count my sweet mom twice!
our family has grown so much in the past 9 years! I always wanted to be part of a big family, and now I am one of 9 children, so when you get all of us plus our spouses, children, aunts, uncles, Grandparents, cousins and close friends together it fills Mom and Dads house and spills out into the garage and yard! :) its great! I love it!

Spencers 1st easter

he helped me pick out the stuff for his basket! he really likes his chic and his frog rattle!

the easter bunny hid eggs all over, the boys had fun finding them.

we finished dying eggs at 10 pm, they had a lot of fun though.

easter egg hunt

our friend Rene and her 3 boys came with us,

Jeremy and Caleb are good buddies!

we went to a easter egg hunt today, it was a lot of fun. they had all kinds of things to do. they had the helicopter drop the eggs, and they had 4 different jumpers. plus all the school things to play on. Jeremy found a golden egg and for his prize he got a bible, candy and a veggie tales movie on easter.

He is getting so big! I am glad it warming up so I can leave his carseat in the car! its getting hard to pack him around in it. :)

sunshine

I love sunshine! it was finally nice here today! and even though I had a million and one things I should have been doing inside, We stayed at prestons school for awhile when we went to pick him up! I swear I could feel my soul sucking up the sunshines warmth! It was so nice! thats how my faith in my Heavenly Father and Jesus is for me! its like sunshine for my soul!
As Easter gets closer I have been thinking more abt how Jesus died for me and what that means for me in my life. it amazes me that he loved you and I so much that he would die for us........... its a humbling and wonderful thing. Happy Easter and God bless! :)
