I LOVE sunshine!!!

I just love sunshine! it just makes me feel so happy! My Mom has always said that she is solar powered. I think that I definitely got that from her! Because on days that the sun is shining I feel great and I get a ton done and on days that its gray and yucky out I could just curl up under a blanket and veg all day! :)
It is a lot nicer out today! its 50 degrees! so I let the boys play at the school when Preston got out. A couple of my friends let their kids play too, so we had a nice visit.
Spencer is doing better, he just has a stuffy nose now. he has started to coo and talk a little. it is so fun! last night at 10 I told him it was time for us to go to sleep and he just smiled at me! it was way cute. Jeremy gets mad because he doesn't think its fair that he has to go to bed at 8 and Spencer doesn't! LOL!

brrr.....

It is soooooo cold! this morning when we took PD to school it was 2 degrees! with the windshield it was below 0! its a whole 6 degrees now. we are supposed to get up to 22 degrees today.
I am SO thankful that we have a warm house, clothes, and a heater in the car that works!
PD didn't want to go to school today, the first thing he said to me was "I don't feel very good" and when I asked what was wrong he said "my back hurts, it feels funny" so I gave him some Tylenol and told him if it got worse at school he could call me and I would go get him. :)
We made it to church on sunday. It was nice to get out and see our friends. I always get a recharge when we go. With the music and hearing abt gods love for us. it keeps me going and lifts my burdens to remember that heavenly father loves us so much and that he is aware of what is going on in our lives right down to the little things.
well I better go get some laundry done, my family has this crazy idea that they need clean clothes! LOL!

just a thought

We are doing great. Spencer is starting to feel better, he still has a cough but its not as bad and he is not as stuffy. The boys are good. Preston is at school today and Jeremy is having a mommy day.
I let Preston stay home tuesday, Spence hadn't slept very well the night before and we were all tierd, and so yesterday he brought home his school work he had missed. His class has started fractions! I was just suprized that they are doing fractions in the 1st grade. He loves math though. :)
Jeremy is taking Spencer for show and tell tomorrow. He is so cute! he gets upset though because we won't let him carry Spence. He just thinks he is so big. :)
I am good, just trying to start my diet and exercise plan. fun fun! LOL!
My sweet husband is doing great! he has been getting up at 5 am and going swimming at the Y. I however am happy working out at home right now until our darling baby is bigger. But i think I might go to the Y a few nights a week when Dave is home with the kids. I found a cool website at webmed. it figures your bmi and tells you how many calories you should eat. it has a calorie counter and a activity counter. the best part is its all free! :)

I took this from Jens blog, you are supposed to pick the 6th file and 6 th picture in that file and post it. this is Preston in 2004 asleep in the hall with his puppy black. :) He had snuck out of his bed and fell asleep by our bedroom door.

Spencer is doing ok. he has a nasty cough and a stuffy nose. But he is doing good for as sick as he could be with RSV. the doctors were suprized that he is doing so good. his oxygen level is 100% and he is breathing ok. so that is wonderful! he is such a sweet baby even though he dosen't feel well he hasn't really been fusy or anything. he is still smiling and for the most part happy. I am just so thankful that he is doing good. RSV can be such a scary thing!
The boys were so excited to see grandma Tracy and grandpa Brian! they came for the weekend! they suprized the boys. they arrived just in time to pick Preston up from school. :) the boys got to go have a sleep over last night with them at the hotel. Jeremy thought Spencer should be able to go to. he wanted to know if they had baby beds! lol! They went swimming and everything. I am so glad they could come visit! we were really missing them!

AHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!

holy cow! its been one of those weeks that makes you want to run screaming! when your 4 year old comes to you and says "mommy, why is the play room floor wet?" um...... because a pipe, in the foundation, had broke. fun huh? which meant they had to come suck the water out and cut a bunch of holes in the celing and walls. but thankfully we have warm water tonight.
then I took Spence in to the doc. because he has had a cold and he has RSV! he is doing ok now but i have to take him back in, in the morning to be checked out again. If he gets worse they will put him in the hospital. so please keep our little one in your prayers......

He is doing so good! I went in for a wic appt. yesterday and he weighs 7 lbs 1 1/2 oz and is 19 inches long!

Here are some new pics of our family. we are doing good. the boys are such cute big brothers! They cant wait until He is big enough to play with them, but until then they are enjoying loving on him.

I am doing fine. just trying to get the hang of this whole nursing thing. who ever said it is a easy and natural thing is crazy! LOL! but oh well, we will get the hang of it. :)

just touching base

hey everyone! i just wanted to touch base with you and let you know we are doing great! thank heavens it is friday! we made it through the week! I felt like we had to relearn how to do everything! its different when you have to get 3 kids ready to go, plus you have to make sure and change and feed the baby in between pick ups and drop offs from school and work. and in the mean time you still have all the other day to day stuff to do like dishes and laundry! its good that i have such a sweet husband who is willing to help pitch in! lol! but we are getting the hang of it! :)
The Boys are doing great. They love our baby. Preston calls him Zaner and likes to talk and read to him. I think he will play with him more as spenc gets bigger. Jeremy loves to hold him and help take care of him. his favorite thing to do i s help get him in and out of the car seat.
Spencer is doing really good. his little cheeks are filling out and he is starting to smile!

jeremy ended up having bronchitis! poor kid! he is doing better now though, it was just a long weekend. he was so excited to get back to school today! he wore his big brother shirt and showed his brother off to everyone! he calls him baby Zane.
Spencer is doing good, we didn't sleep much last night, I think he had a tummy ache. I think I ate to much chocolate. so Im going to not eat it for a few days and see if that helps. we only slept for abt 3 hrs. so hopefully tonight goes better.
But over all we are doing great! the lord just keeps taking care of us!
I did have a big happy moment today! I took out a pair of my pants from before spencer was born and they fit!!!! Wahoo! no more maternity clothes! I am super excited!

update

Jeremy has had a cold the last little while and now its in his chest. he has been doing breathing treatments to try and help it, but he has been running a fever the last 2 days so we are taking him in to the doc. today to see if they can give him something for it. Poor baby...

Spencer had his check up yesterday and he is doing great! he is even above his birth weight! he was at 6' 11 yesterday. when we brought him home on the 30th he was down to 6' 8. he shrunk though! lol! ok not really but they measured him wrong at the hospital. he is really 18 1/2 inches long not 20. the nurse at the doc office checked it twice, she even had another nurse come over and measure him to make sure she had it right.

But he is doing really great! He slept a lot better last night, we both got some much needed sleep!

We finally have our little Spencer Zane!! he was born at 1:40 am on the 29th. he weighed 6 pounds 10 ounces and was 20 inches long. He is doing great! He is such a sweet baby, he only cries when he is hungry or needs to be changed.
