family

I recived this in a email and I really liked it. sometimes in life it is so easy to get so busy that we forget how important taking time for our family is. thinking to ourselves that we will tomorrow. but what if tomorrow never comes?
F A M I L Y I ran into a stranger as he passed by, "Oh excuse me please" was my reply. He said, "Please excuse me too; I wasn't watching for you." We were very polite, this stranger and I. We went on our way and we said goodbye. But at home a different story is told, How we treat our loved ones, young and old. Later that day, cooking the evening meal, My son stood beside me very still. When I turned, I nearly knocked him down. "Move out of the way," I said with a frown. He walked away, his little heart broken. I didn't realize how harshly I'd spoken. While I lay awake in bed, God's still small voice came to me and said, "While dealing with a stranger, common courtesy you use, but the family you love, you seem to abuse. Go and look on the kitchen floor, You'll find some flowers there by the door. Those are the flowers he brought for you. He picked them himself: pink, yellow and blue. He stood very quietly not to spoil the surprise, you never saw the tears that filled his little eyes." By this time, I felt very small, And now my tears began to fall. I quietly went and knelt by his bed; "Wake up, little one, wake up," I said. "Are these the flowers you picked for me?" He smiled, "I found 'em, out by the tree. I picked 'em because they're pretty like you. I knew you'd like 'em, especially the blue." I said, "Son, I'm very sorry for the way I acted today; I shouldn't have yelled at you that way." He said, "Oh, Mom, that's okay. I love you anyway." I said, "Son, I love you too, and I do like the flowers, especially the blue." FAMI LY Are you aware that if we died tomorrow, the company that we are working for could easily replace us in a matter of days. But the family we left behind will feel the loss for the rest of their lives. And come to think of it, we pour ourselves more into work than into our own family, an unwise investment indeed, don't you think? So what is behind the story? Do you know what the word FAMILY means? FAMILY = (F)ATHER (A)ND (M)OTHER (I) (L)OVE (Y)OU

Springbreak

its springbreak for the boys and we are at our favorite place to visit! Idaho! but poor daddy had to go back to billings for work this week. Jeremy told him but daddy it is spring break you don't have to work! :) wouldn't that be nice if that was how it worked?
So the boys and I get to spend our week doing my favorite thing........... visiting family! I love to visit with our family! besides me being a chatty patty, they are my favorite people! :}

Before I was a Mom

I stole this off of my aunts blog, but I really like it!
Before I was a Mom, I never tripped over toys or forgot words to a lullaby. I didn't worry whether or not my plants were poisonous. I never thought about immunizations. Before I was a Mom, I had never been puked on. Pooped on. Chewed on. Peed on. I had complete control of my mind and my thoughts. I slept all night. Before I was a Mom, I never held down a screaming child so doctors could do tests. Or give shots. I never looked into teary eyes and cried. I never got gloriously happy over a simple grin. I never sat up late hours at night watching a baby sleep. Before I was a Mom, I never held a sleeping baby just because I didn't want to put her down. I never felt my heart break into a million pieces when I couldn't stop the hurt. I never knew that something so small could affect my life so much.I never knew that I could love someone so much. I never knew I would love being a Mom. Before I was a Mom, I didn't know the feeling of having my heart outside my body. I didn't know how special it could feel to feed a hungry baby. I didn't know that bond between a mother and her child. I didn't know that something so small could make me feel so important and happy. Before I was a Mom, I had never gotten up in the middle of the night every 10 minutes to make sure all was okay. I had never known the warmth, the joy, the love, the heartache, the wonderment or the satisfaction of being a Mom.. I didn't know I was capable of feeling so much, before I was a Mom.

New Pictures

Hi everyone! we are doing just great! We went to our friends yesterday and had dinner. Jeremy was so excited because one of their little boys Caleb is in J's preschool class and they are best buddies! today Renee got their 1st to pick up Caleb and Caleb wouldn't leave until I got there. he didn't want to leave his buddy there by himself! LOL! they are so cute! It was a lot of fun though! they also have a 6 year old boy named tristen, a 2 year old boy named Evan and their baby boy who is almost 6 months. so all the boys have someone to play with. :) Last night was the 1st time our hubbies had met, but they hit it off too. Renee and I can easily stand outside the preschool and chat for a hour or so. :) you know me the chatty patty. :)
