almost summer

wahoo its almost summer break! I don't think I have been this excited for summer break since I was in school! :) Jeremy has one day left of preschool and Preston has like 9 days left! I am excited to go to the park, have picnics, and play in the water! I will have to post pictures!
Things are going good here, Spencer had a fever yesterday but it is gone now. he just has a runny nose and a cough. poor kid it seems like he just gets over something and he catches another one! I guess its the only way for his immune system to build up.
they are all getting so big! it goes to fast! I love spending time with them though! Jeremy brought home a suprize for Dave for fathers day today and so he was talking abt how it was mothers day and next was fathers day so when is Kids day? lol! I told him his birthday was his kids day. :)
Dave is doing amazing, he blows me away! he gets up at 5:30 am and works out. he has lost 30 pounds!
i am doing great! it has been so nice to get to know people here! I have made some really good friends!
It is so pretty here! we took the boys for a walk the other day and saw a white tail deer! it was neat!

it has been such a nice day! the sun is shining with blue skies! it is 66 %! I am loving it! the boys have been outside playing most the day. they even made a new friend with the little boy who lives across the street! they are getting so big! I find my role in there lives changing daily, there little worlds are changing and growing to include new people and new experiences. its a fun thing to watch. even if it does give my mommy heart a little sting.
I can't believe Jeremy will be starting kindergarten and that Preston will be in 2nd grade! time has just gone by so fast! thank heavens I have my little Spencer! or I would be lost this fall when school starts! :)
we had such a awesome trip home for mothers day! It seems like we cram a weeks worth of visiting into a few days. it was so fun though! I will have to post pictures once I get them from Aunt Tricia.

ugh!!!

I am so stressed! I have been trying to get everything ready for this weekend and nothing seems to be working out the way I want it to! I know they say that if you want to hear good laugh tell him your plans, but dang it would be nice if something would work the way I need it to! So on top of everything I went to take Preston to school today and couldn't get the car to start! the ignition is locked up and no matter what I do I can't get it to unlock. thank heavens for good friends! Cortnee thank you so much for all you help! I may still keep my sanity! :)

debt

we went to a broadcast tonight abt refusing to be a part of this resecion by Dave Ramsey, he just talked abt taking responsibility in our own lives for our finances and than helping those around us. his three steps to doing this where : 1- GET MOVING!------TAKE ACTION! your best chance at sucess is you! 2-Don't praticepate in loser talk! 3- learn to give agian! giving gives YOU HOPE!!!
a friend of ours is going to give us a book of Dave Ramseys on getting debt free and planing for your future. I am excited to read it and to hopefully get us debt free and buy our first home!!

family

I just have been thinking abt family tonight. what an amazing blessing family is! I am so glad we have the technology we have to keep in touch! even when Zane was in Iraq we could still talk to him on the phone or hear from him in a email!
I am so thankful that we have him home safe and sound! who would have thought that my pesky little brother, who used to hog the tv and watch dragoon ball z, would become one of my very best friends? and yes he did get bigger than me mom, but he is nice and dosen't pick on me! lol! he is my boys hero too! Jeremy told me today that when he grows up he is going to help uncle Zane keep the world safe by being a police officer. Preston now wants to work construction in the airforce instead of being a jet pilot for them. just so he can work with uncle Zane!
My mom is one of the women I look up to in life, I call her almost everyday either with questions like "how long should I cook a roast in the oven and at what temp?" or just to see what she is doing and share whats going on at our house! My boys get so homesick for her! They like to talk to her on the phone and tell her what is going on in their lives. She is so good at making each of them feel important, loved and uniqe! even spencer talks to her on the phone! there are times when situations come up in life and I ask myself what she would do and it helps me know what to do, it helps to remember that I come from a long line of strong, capable, creative women who can handle anything god and life throw at them. sometimes you just have to pull yourself up by your boot straps and keep going! when i count my blessings I defenitly count my sweet mom twice!
our family has grown so much in the past 9 years! I always wanted to be part of a big family, and now I am one of 9 children, so when you get all of us plus our spouses, children, aunts, uncles, Grandparents, cousins and close friends together it fills Mom and Dads house and spills out into the garage and yard! :) its great! I love it!
